Aminekopalooza
I keep telling myself that I'm going to try out new patterns or make my own patterns ... and yet what keeps coming off my hook is aminekos! They each seem to have their own distinct personality/expression though.I attended my first SnB meeting last week . Theree was only one other crocheter there but he was making an amineko as well :)

How sweet :)I'm reisting the urge now to make several more of them myself lol. There's just something about them soo cute.
alisha - i agree! i don't know what it is but they are just so ridiculously cute :)
samantha - thanks! it's hard to find bright, fun varigated yarn. this one is caron simply soft.

thanks lucy! i love varigated yarn. i saw one of the amineko web site using self-striping yarn and it was adorable. that's what i want to try next.
thanks boop! it's a really great project and you don't need expensive yarn. the pink one and the purple-ish one are made of red heart and the rainbow one is made of caron simply soft.
That's the great thing about amineko....they can be made with the cheapest yarn out there! I always make mine with Red Heart.
I run the pattern through Google's Language Tools when I'm working on these kitties :) Even though it translates to say "knit" all the way through, it means crochet.
It was kind of confusing at first, but after a while it makes sense.
Your kitties are cute :) Love their little smiles hehe. Mine always are very serious looking, staring at me from the TV stand now hahaha
