Announcement

The amigurumi-along has been fun, but I think it's beginning to outlive its usefulness.

Therefore, as of Dec. 31, the amigurumi-along will end. All the posts will remain for archival purposes, but no more new posts will be added.

Thanks for playing along, everyone! It's been fun!

A Beary Happy Christmas to You!

Wow, it's been ages since I've posted anything here. Ages since I've even been by to see what else people have been doing. Sorry. Anyway, I finally made this bear from Amigurumi Collection Volume 4. I loved the way he turned out. I think I'll be making more soon. (~_^)v. More info at my blog!

Tiny Ami 2 Crochet Pattern

Hola!
I've always LOVED Japanese stationary, so I made a whole pattern set inspired by them :) Also, following on Roxycraft super niceness, I have a cupcake pattern available for free in my Etsy shop (you just have to send me a conversation or e-mail me and I'll send it to your e-mail address).
Happy Thanksgiving everybody, hope you have fun with your families!
:)

Amigurumi-Along

Recipe for Robot

Hello! I feel a bit silly, but someone asked if I would share the recipe for Robot Blues. I finally typed it up and it is posted on my blog amigurumiobsessions.blogspot.com

I hope everyone is well and happy. I know we are all looking forward to the holidays, as happy and crazy as they can be! I know my yarning is going to be increasing as the giving season nears its zenith.

Hey did anyone get to check out the transit of Mercury across the sun yesterday? I got side tracked and forgot to look. Anyways, Blessed be with good thoughts, luscious merriment and as much exhausting, I mean, obsessive yarning as humanly possible! Ciao!

Robot Blues

Hello! I hope everyone is well. The weather has gone a bit chilly here in NorCal, so I decided bust out the yarn. This is one of my newest creations! His name is Bo-bot. When I gave him to my son, I "pressed" the buttons and made 'bee-boop' and 'bleep-bleep' sounds. Now he pushes the buttons and makes the sounds! It's so cute! I'm so stoked on my robots (I made a red one for my friend, it came out much better than this one!) They are my own design, I even wrote down my pattern as I went along!! That's big for me!! I'm a little stoked on my crafting skills right now!
I'm so glad to see thatI wasn't the only on who took a summer hiatus! Keep up the great work y'all! It's keeps me inspired!! May your day be filled with good thoughts, luscious merriment, and as muchobsessive yarning as possible! Namaste!

Thank You, puchitomato...

I was at Craftster.org browsing through their forum and came across these cute "tropical monkeys". They made my fingers ITCH to make one. So I did. I hope Puchitomato won't mind, but I promise I'm not selling it or giving out the pattern. My little gal isn't exactly like hers anyway, I think hers is better - with the two pieced face. You can see more pics of this one at my flickr. (^_^)v Just had to share... (ps - i had a lot of problems getting this to post... and I think the hotlinks above might not work correctly. sorry.)

my latest...

Lately, it seems that only people selling patterns are posting on amigurumi-along . So, to break the trend, here are some non-pattern amigurumis that I made recently.
This little bunny has jointed arms and legs. He was my favorite until I made the shy looking sheep today. I named her Baarbaara - The Bashful Ewe... You can see more pictures on my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/tattis_cuties/
And now, to restore the trend of pattern-advertising, I recently completed this adorable amigurumi-cow pattern, which you can find at www.tattiscuties.etsy.com
Sorry that the pictures are all over the screen. I CANNOT get the hang of arranging them, they look different in the preview...
