Chouckette the doll
Meet Chouckette, my first human amigurumi. It was also very experimental as it's my own pattern (ie, no pattern).
I made her like a naked dool, and then made the dress separate.

Pastel Rainbow
Here's a little girl I just finished--I mixed a worsted weight acrylic with some Bernat Boa yarn, and I love the fizzy effext I ended up with...
Valentine the cat
It's been a long time since I posted... but I haven't stopped making stuff ! Here is my latest, Valentine the cat. I named her like that because I made her on Valentine's day.
I also made a second cat so my blue cat wouldn't feel lonely on Valentine's day. They now spend their time cuddling on the couch ;)
I made quite a few of those little chicks, and I think I finally found the right design.

Ella the Black Cat
Here's Ella the Black Cat
I made her for my daughter at her request. She wanted a cat she could dress up like she dresses up her dolls. I made the poncho for the cat too. I made the pattern up myself you can find it here. You will find another cat I made for my son there too. It turned out better because I used Red Heart yarn instead of the Caron Simply Soft yarn I used for Ella.
My daughter did all the embroidery on her doll. I did the embroidery on my sons doll which I think turned out ok but could still use some improvement.
I'm not posting a photo of my son's cat here because apparently his cat is shy. When I make another cat I will be replacing the photos of his cat with the new one.
My next project will be to make the dragon. I like the baby seal too.

jelly george
so i have one more friend to post. his name is george, and he likes honey.
he is temporarily faceless, but he feels his way about with his super-long tentacles. the longest one is 26.2 cm long.
yes, there is a bag of sausage behind george.
it belongs to my granfather. he really likes his sausage, and buys a bag every saturday at the market.
what a funny man.

Hi Everyone! I'm new!
Hi! I just started crocheting toys a few months ago and am having so much fun! I love checking this blog every now and then to see what others are up to. Here's one I finished just yesterday!
And here's the one that sparked my interest... anyway, I don't want to flood this site with pictures. You can check out my own blog at http://amigurumigirl.blogspot.com/ . Keep up the great work everyone!

i'm very sorry for not posting sooner, but i was having camera problems for a bit now and had not photographed any recent creations. well, from the last month anyway (as i've only been crocheting since christmas! what was i living for before?!hehe). coming empty handed to such a talented group of people just seemed wrong. so i have a few creations for you:

jeez. thechnology hates me. oh! about me: i am a final year highschool student in kitchener, ontario, who is hoping to attend a journalism program in university next year. apart from crocheting, i like to go to local shows, raise a ruckus, watch law and order, and laugh aloud.

Okay--last two for now :o)
Okay, here are my newest two--the sad, sparkly fellow with the belly is Raspbeary, and his friend is Tutti Whatsit, who started as a bear, but now may be a monkey or a lion or...I don't know!
They're both up now at my etsy shop:

Ollie Ollie Octopus
Hi. I just finished my first little critter, Ollie. My two year old just started laughing when she saw it. She said the legs were funny.
