Vincenzo Eggplant
Here's my latest creation... the light was bad in my apartment, so I apologize for not having a clearer picture.
I'd like to ask for opinions: I made little arms for this guy, but he looks so cute as he is, I can't bear to sew them on... what do you think? Arms, or no? This is his story:
"Little Vincenzo hails from Little Italy.
He ran away from a dottering little nonna that tried to bake him into eggplant parmesan. He's on the lam!"

Chloe the mini bunny
This is my first attempt at making a mini amigurumi in thread.
It's not more complex than yarn critters, but my fingers hurt a little bit. I think using that horrible hook didn't help. I won't be using it next time ;)
I also tend to produce one chick a day, as part of an experiment to see what looks better. I will take an emsemble pic later. I plan on making them for Easter, and I know a few people ready to "steal" them from me, so... I can still make more and more !!!

Katie and Birdie
Thanks for your warm welcome. Yesterday was Sunday, and with so much time on my hands, what was I supposed to do? Amigurumi !!!
I made this little cat to go with my little rabbit. And I found an old pattern for a bird in my printed files. It's from Marlo's crochet website, I can dig and find it for you if you want ! The cat has no pattern.
I have a bunch of questions for you all ! Do you make amigirumi from patterns, or do you invent them? Where are you all from? What do you do with your finished pieces?

San from the UK
Hello, this is my first post here. I'm San, I'm a 31 french girl living in England. I love all sorts of crafts, mostly stitching and crochet. You can see that on my blog over here. I love japanese cute things, Hello Kitty and such, and recently I decided to make amigurumi characters.
So here is Flora Rabbit I made last week, and Nekoli the cat I finished just yesterday.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all and share that passion of amigurumi we all have !
Yesterday I bought the first Amigurumi Collection book on yesasia. I hope I'll be able to use it, as I can't speak japanese !

Orange Julius
Hola!
This is my first post, so hi!, I'm Ana and I've been crocheting and knitting forever. I have a two year old girl (Oli), and after she was born I stopped knitting and crocheting big, long, elaborated projects and started crocheting little toys instead, amigurumi can be so addictive! Check out some of my toys and patterns at www.anapaulaoli.etsy.com
Tell me what you think -Oli pretty much likes everything and anything I make, even if it turns out really ugly :) I wrote the pattern for these, my favorite is the panda...

Obligatory Intro Post
Helloooooo! I'm P-tea, and I stumbled upon this group blog from amigurumi googlings... I've been knitting since I was very small, but in the last couple of weeks I've picked up crocheting (and am now officially obsessed), so I'm very excited to join this little group. :)
Here's two of my recent creations:
Percy Peep!
Likes: Cornmeal, sunny days
Dislikes: Frying pans, spatulas, grumpy people.
Meet Octavia Octi!
She likes ink pens and tiny crackers.
there'll be more posted on my blog soon... pleased to meet you all. ^_^

Hello Everybody!
Hi everyone!
I'm extremely pleased to be a part of Amigurumi Along! Looking forward to reading all of your wonderful posts!
I have never made an amigurumi before, so if anyone has any more free patterns, please would you allow me to have a look? Also I'm new to crochet - my first piece was a garland for Christmas last year, so any tips and tricks are also much appreciated!
And if any of you wonderful bloggers are from Australia, Happy Australia Day for tomorrow (the 26th of January over here in Australia)!
I also found a knitted amigurumi money cat (a.k.a. maneki neko 'beckoning cat') here: http://castadrift.blogspot.com/2005/10/fortune-cat-pattern.html
Does anyone know how I could make a crochet version of this??
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

New Pattern Collection
made for my lovely friend
Nearly two years ago I joined an Art forum and met a handful of wicked, talented and great people. One of them was this great fella, MrP. This doll doesn't do justice to the original, I think it's really hard to portray someone like him, but I gave it a shot. ;)

Boohoo, the blue monst0r
This is Boohoo, the blue monst0r. He fell in love with an eggplant but got his heart broken when she got eaten by my friend Liza.
Meet Shan
Shan is a little shy but she loves to dress a little wild. She likes Vampire movies ghost stories & all things supernatural. She loves alot of different kinds of music & chihuahuas of course. She has a soft spot for all animals and feeds birds she sees in parking lots.
